Int. 29er Class Announces New North American Distributors

With the increasing popularity of the 29er skiff around the World, the Int. 29er Class is happy to announce increased distribution and dealer networks in the North American region.  The availability of 29er hulls, spars and masts is now more accessible with the addition of 4 main partners with an additional Northeast distributor to be named shortly.

"This bold new North American dealer network is what is needed to support and grow the 29er class throughout the US and Canada," said Blake MacDiarmid, 29er World Council Vice President for North America.  "It is a professional approach that will keep the class healthy, accessible and affordable - just the recipe to get more youth sailors into the performance development pipeline and Olympic pathway."

The 29er Class is proud to team up with the following distributors and dealers in North America:

These four Distributors join the prestigious group of 17 current distributors and dealers spread across 15 countries covering the globe.  Currently there are 7 licensed builders in the 29er world based on every continent.

The Int. 29er Class has seen phenomenal growth in its 16 years with two years in a row of World Championships with over 210 entries and almost 600 teams competing in the annual EuroCup events.  Over 1,000 registered members representing 30 countries show the popularity of the skiff which beginning in 2015 will have both a boys and girls fleet at the ISAF Youth Worlds.  The 29er is seen as the training ground for the Olympic 49er and 49erFX skiffs.
